I'm currently doing a save with Tondela! They have some really good players for the 2nd Division (Telmo arcanjo, Rafael Barbosa, Jota, Tiago Almeida) but the squad depth is terrible, you can barely fill the bench with players, and most that are on the bench are very bad U19 players. It's not that difficult to get promotion because of some of the quality in the team, but it's very hard to then maintain a stable ship in the first division due to the financial situation and the fact that most of the good players in side will want to leave on a free for a better club, since a lot of them are on the last year of their contracts, so almost a full rebuild is a likely scenario in the 2nd season, which is terrible for the finances. Despite the difficulties, it's a very fun save! Would recommend :) (btw Telmo arcanjo from Tondela is an hidden gem this year, very well balanced young talent)

I think Vaduz is the hardest save in FM due to lack of funds from the league & restrictions of the ECL

SC Bastia. In 2017 they were relegated from the Ligue 1 to the 5th Division of French Football due to financial issues. The team essentially disbanded, rebranded, and it's B team became the 1st Team squad. A decent amount of debt, not the most money to spend, they've managed to get promoted back to Ligue 2, having achieved back to back promotions. With an aging squad, almost no transfer budget, no salary budget, they are the pundits choice to be relegated. Staying up in Ligue 2 could be hard, getting into Ligue 1 and fighting for top table football could be harder.

Aside from that I have looked at Vaduz before but not sure I’m up for that much pain. What a challenge if you pull it off though

Jake, can one of you guys, in FM Scout, make a simulation of this World Cup, but with exactly those players, who are invited in National teams, in real life? I'm just curious how close FM will be to predicting the results.

Sheff wed in league 1. Have a good squad for the 1st season with a decent wage budget, but they are 120 million in debt with hardly any income. 1st season is a doddle but the 2nd and 3rd are very hard as all the top players leave on a free and you get less wage budget than in the 1st season with restrictions on max wage, all the whole it keeps saying you are in the brink of administration

Derby is a tough one unable to pay fees for loans/transfer. I am sitting mid-table right now and its tough with a small squad and hard to get depth

Hardest challenge in my opinion is trying to geta team from the 10th tier of english football to the prem using only youth intakes

The Irish League is always a good league to manage regarding build a nation and keeping a hold of your good young players

I'm doing an Academy Challenge with a small part-time club that starts with a very geriatric, overpaid squad. Season 1 is okay but the financial crisis necessitates releasing nearly all the senior players and relying on your academy kids in Season 2. That's with a club with 1s for all youth facilities - imagine the quality!

You should include SEA team (except johor darul ta'zim and some thai team) they have low or even minus budget, mediocre player, mediocre nation young rating and low coefficient at afc

I am working on a game in Japan with no coaching staff end no players and disabled players and transfers. the club goals are to reach champions league but i only have youth players under contract at amateur level..
