I would have rejected right away when they said car is not ready waiting for body parts, failed MOT etc. You must have gotten some deal of century so you didn't reject it right away.

Very informative video. These online marketplaces are great when they work, but when they don't, you'll understand and appreciate traditional brick and mortar establishments.

Always do a car check on vehicles you buy even if it’s from a reputable retailer. Also, one thing I’ve found useful is to take your car to a local mechanic for a minor service and MOT immediately and if anything is flagged either claim it back to Cazoo or return the vehicle

I don't understand why you still went ahead and bought it, when you knew it needed parts and had failed an MOT, for me that would ring alarm bells!! Also if you want a reliable car probably best to avoid land rover

That doesn't seem to be a customer focused journey that you have experienced, 5 stars to you for you calm demeanor and patience but in my opinion it would have been a 1 star rating for Cazoo and I would return the vehicle as its not up to expectations, looks like its one to avoid, many thanks for documenting your trip down this road.

This is absolutely crazy and very similar to my Cinch experience with all the messing around for 2 months. Thankfully I rejected the Cazoo car and was refunded in 48 hrs. Never again! I hope everyone watches our videos.

I was tempted with going with these for a car, as when you look on autotrader, a lot of the cars advertised are through these and the other online companies, but after seeing this video, I think I'll use a local reputable dealer instead. Your patience must have been really high. I would cancelled the order after the MOT test failed. You think they do all this before they put the car on sale!

Think you've convinced me to steer clear. They've decided to 'disrupt' the industry by offering this 'Amazon' car purchasing experience. This entirely hinges on trust and it sounds to me like they're entirely untrustworthy - not disclosing the numerous issues the car was clearly suffering from at time of initial purchase, failure to perform any of the checks they said they would, lack of transparency throughout your ordeal.

You better check your warranty details. If underwritten by Cazoo they’ll be bankrupt next year and that warranty will be worthless

Man what a shitshow. You should see if you can draw the attention of the likes of @autoalex. I bet this is a far wider problem than your video alludes to. With the second hand car market still on fire despite the general day to day slowly returning to something resembling a normal, it seems like if it has wheels they can jack up and price and ship it out without even a cursory glance
