Israel Considers Preemptive Strike on Iran Amid Fears of Imminent Attack | Firstpost America

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering launching a preemptive strike on Iran amid fears of Tehran attacking the country. Meanwhile, reports say US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has told his counterparts from the G7 nations that Iran could attack Israel anytime now. He further stated that both Iran and Hezbollah are likely to strike together. Last week, Israel launched an airstrike in Lebanon's Beirut, killing top Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr. It is also believed to have killed Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. Washington has said that the Iranian threat is very serious and has vowed to defend Israel in any scenario.
