You see Russian is national name for people only in Russia, but Soviet, he-he..., Soviet is a name for all the people in the Soviet Union. But do you know what Soviet really means? Soviet is a council in english. That means that people of Soviet Union decided what to do together in council.)))

I'd honestly love to see a sequel to this movie, played straight. Ivan Danko as a disaffected Ukrainian cop, still a staunch communist but having watched the USSR fall apart. Meanwhile, Art Ridzik has gotten off the streets and is teaching at a police academy, though he is generally disgusted with the sorts of cops who graduate from the school. Unfortunately, the two lost contact with one-another during the 1990s; they are reunited when - for reasons I haven't figured out yet - Ridzik winds up in Kyiv, where he and Danko must foil a plot by former Soviet military officials and a major American mob family to smuggle military hardware into the USA.
