Apple MagSafe Leather Wallet with 'Find My' Built In!

Apple recently released a new version of the MagSafe Wallet, now featuring support for the Find My network and five new color options. The Find My support sounds great but is it really as it good as it sounds?

Honestly, I’d like a thin AirTag card for my existing wallet. It’s about the only thing keeping me in the Tile ecosystem.

It seems like they could do this with anything that attaches via MagSafe - if the OS can play an animation when they attach it surely knows when it detaches too.

Just received the new apple wallet, personally I think the magnets are super strong, I don’t understand why people say it’s weak. It may be because I use a MagSafe silicon case but it’s perfect

For anyone looking into the wallets here’s my take. The wallet come in handy. Maximum 3 cards. I carry ID, Credit, and debit card. The wallets does move around a lot if you do not have a case (like me) but won’t move until you really apply force on it. I work for apple add tested the wallet on many cases and leather is the best in terms of how well it stays on. Without a case it’s alright. Overall I really like. Thought I was really stupid but I use it everyday and didn’t have a urge to buy a actual wallet.

Once an actual AirTag wafer is inside the MagSafe wallet, I'll buy one. Only slightly better than useless to show last location detached, but cannot find it like an AirTag. Already have the first version of the wallet and get the buzz each time it's removed or attached.

The Popsocket MagSafe wallet is way stronger than Apples own.. so recently upgraded to 13 Pro Max and maybe it’s because it’s much bigger but the wallet doesn’t magnetize as with the smaller phones. A bummer for me, I like Apples leather accessories and just got my leather case today. It’s always a must have.

Who places their phone in their pocket like that, especially when you have something attached to it? Learn, adjust, solved. Even without a MagSafe accessory, I put my phone in my pocket guiding the front edge in with my fingers. With the notification being triggered after a minute that helps with enough time to find it if you left it at a restaurant. Someone did mention bus/subway so that definitely would be too late. Adding AirTag functionality would add thickness and likely not worth the R&D to develop if IDs are eventually going on the phone, and credit cards already on the Wallet app.

I have this wallet with the find my and it works well with my otterbox pro xt case. The magnets are pretty good with this case I was swinging etc with it on my phone and no drops.

Hi 👋 I’m planning on buying the magsafe wallet (in 2022), but now seeing that one version of the wallet has that find my functionality and the other doesn’t. How can i make sure that the one I buy is the one capable of doing that notificacion for the wallet? If I go to the apple store online i see that the magsafe wallet has a red sign that says doesn’t include find my, so the does it mean that i need to find the article that doesn’t have that red tag?
