Hard to beat a inline 6 in the pulling department, not the fastest but trucks are made for pulling loads in the first place 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I’m a Chevy guy, but that’s a good lookin’ truck.

Truck is awesome for a Ram, mirrors are terrible. Interior is amazing man. That truck is not going to blow up!! Lol. Maybe after a million miles! I'm a straight up GM guy but I can see why you wanted it. And it's considered a 5th generation in Ohio. You all in California can't even decide on gender, let a lone a truck!

Not sure why everyone hates on the new ram trucks. They aren't the same trucks they were 10+ years ago. Interiors are waaayyy nicer now and the overall quality has been steadily getting better over the years. Don't get me wrong, they aren't perfect by no means, but they are easily equal to any other auto manufacturer out there. In this day and age, it really comes down to preference and needs.

The ones hating are just fanboys of other brands and don't understand there are other good trucks on the market. I looked at a Chevy 3500 dually last year prior to getting my Ram, thought I may want to change it up a little but just didn't like it for the price and limited options. I have purchased 3 new Dodge/Ram cummins trucks, no engine problems, no trans problems and interiors were not noisy nor did they "come apart". All truck stayed stock. First 2 trucks, I towed heavy a lot and when I sold/traded them, they were both running and towing perfect. 1999, 2500, 5.9, AT 4x4 (251k miles) and 2005, 3500 dually, HO 5.9, AT, 4x4 (207k miles). My 2018 Limited 3500 dually, HO 6.7, Aisin trans is just a pleasure to drive. Towed 24' bay boat 2, 000 miles to Fl Keys and back, boat/trailer/gear is fairly light at approx 8000+ lbs. But can't feel it behind the truck, easy to forget you are towing. If I were going to make a complaint about the Ram truck, it is the same that Eddie pointed out, fuel capacity. Even with getting good fuel mileage, the small tank sucks on long trips.

Thanks for calling me out, Eddie! I was a GM fanatic and switched to Ford, went to Ram and never looked back. Love all of the trucks out there. We should embrace that we have three amazing trucks to choose from. Ram just happens to be at the forefront of the truck world right now. Looks, performance, ergonomics and durability Ram is the best right now.

I had wanted a duramax since they came out way back. Couldn’t wait until the day we could buy one. In 2016 it was time to finally get one, the ram dealer was on the way to the Chevy dealer so just because we stop to test drive a ram. My wife wasn’t super down with test driving one, but I told her we had to be sure we were getting what we are happy with. She found one she really like and test drove the thing. When we were done we went to the Chevy dealer. We test drove three different trucks and the dealer had a “good” excuse for each truck as to why we didn’t like it. We just couldn’t bring our selves to but one after driving the ram. The ride was so much better, the power was always there, it doesn’t defuel for seconds at a time between shift I could go on. Point being, we now own a Ram it had 5 miles on it and now at 62k. My wife still smiles when she jumps up in it.

Good job Eddy!

It's really how well you take care of your truck

I only know of one problem another You Tuber had with his Ram 3500 with same transmission. Where the dealer had raise up the cab to replace the electric harness for transmission, but after that he loves the truck. He pulls a goose neck flat bed with his 5000 series John Deere tractor with no problem! His transmission couldn't decide which gear to be in and it also tried to go into reverse while driving down the highway. He put an extra fuel tank in the bed that he built.

Its a 5th gen. Everthing underneath and mechanically is new. The only thing carry over is the cab and bed, FCA is working on moving the truck production back to the US. So they are still using the old tooling on the HDs and 1500 classics until the factory is completed.

If you keep the truck stock, and do all the proper maintenance, it should last for a very long time. I have been told that the transmission on my truck would blow up also, but it is a 2003 with the 5.9l and currently has around 340, 000 miles on it. So, I guess it is doing alright.

I just bought a 2019 RAM 1500 4X4. So far I love it! I pull a bass boat, and a 28 foot RV.. Has been amazing so far. Next will be the diesel!!!

I wouldn't mind the dodge mirrors so much if they slid in closer to window when not towing. Little much to alway be a foot away when cruising down the hwy.

I’ve got my 2019 Denali duramax, but that’s a nice truck haters gonna hate.
