This step deletes the search history as well as the watch history. A year ago there was an option to delete only "search histories". It is no longer available. I hope YouTube puts it back

It used to be so easy, I've just deleted my whole watch history now why do they change things for the worse!!!

Thank God it works!! Im sick of this new feature where all I searched for automatically comes up when I click “search” button. But then to get rid of that, I need to delete history & then what happens? When I open YT, it’s empty. But doing it this way actually works - what I searched for disappeared & my YT looks normal, not empty. Thank u!!

this video doesn't work, I believe the only way to do it is to manually hold down on each searched thing in your searches and press confirm to delete it, it's so slow but unfortunately it's the only way

Google, (I'm assuming is the culprit) keeps ending my comment in progress, 3 X now, returning to a suggested video, and when i go back tk finish, there isnt one ro finish? 🤔Hmmm? No, not conspiracy theory. It just happened. I have gone back and finished, before and they were still there but I wasn't being negative specifically about Google I was commenting specifically about said video. Maybe that's the deal. Interesting the different results in returning to the comment to finish. Just sayin'. 🤷🏻‍♂️
