First they came for the 2080Ti, and I did not speak out because I didn't need more than 12GB of VRAM.

Then they came for the 3070, and I did not speak out because I did not need more than 1080p / 1440p gaming.

And then they came for the 4080 super, and I did not speak out because I did not own a 4080 super.

And then Nvidia came for me... but then there was no one left to speak out for me.

They have truly just cut out specific skus sadly. 7800x3D, 4090, and now 4080 super. Although there probably is enough stock of the 4080super for a while. 7800x3D loss of stock sucks though, cant recommend people buy it at 450-500$+ :(

expect a November release for 9800x3D.

Everyone that is taking this as an ill omen of the 5080 an 5090's price is absolutely right to feel this way.

This is a common tactic by companies to remove alternatives/options to their incoming product.

I've upgraded my RX580 to RX7800 XT two months ago, I'm ok for the next 10 years if NGreedia still won't care for their customers only for their wallets with that ridiculous monopoly.

I own an MSI GeForce 4080 16GB RTX Super Slim. I paid $1, 149 in June for it brand new. The only thing I feel will be worth getting a 5090 for people is 4k resolution with all graphic settings maxed out with next-gen graphic games. With super smooth framerates going along with it. I also in June bought an AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3d 16 core/32 thread CPU. My CPU is the sweet spot right now to buy. It's all a waiting game to buy when you're ready to upgrade. I've been waiting from October 2023 till June this year for a new PC. My Corsair 7000D Airflow Full Tower Size case and all the hardware inside is brand new. Just remember, the golden rule with a computer is. A computer is only as good as for what you want use it for.

The "Legend" the picture leak from MLID was referring to the 7800X3D ... meaning the 9800X3D will be succeeding it or that their X3D line up is generally the "best"

It seems as though the tech industry is riddled with a significantly greater clusterf**k of hyperbole and rumour, foreshadowing, disappointment and egregious RRP's than in quite a few previous years.. or does it just seem like it? I can't tell anymore, but things feel more expensive even if they do or don't seem to exist.

except is not really extra performance, AI Frames don't give you more in-game information, they just smooth out what the game already gives you. Basically this is just the new "we can use Motion Blur to hide stutters" but with Numbers

& at that point might as well just stick to using FSR & run the games at low settings... or even better, pester the rich Publishers to actually pay their devs to optimize the games
