'Freestyle Love Supreme' Gets Real About Arts Education

Research shows that arts classes lead to success in school, work, and life. They stimulate students' creativity, and provide them with problem-solving, critical thinking and collaborative skills. And yet, programs across the country are in danger of being cut: only 3% of elementary schools offer dance, whereas only 17% of high schools require music and only 4% require dramatic arts.

Inspired by the remarkable artistic talents of the 'Freestyle Love Supreme' cast, Pivot TV has joined forces with Americans for the Arts to create Love Arts Ed. The campaign champions the belief that the arts should be prioritized within core curriculums in schools across the country. ALL students deserve access to an art education – let’s get behind the arts!
