Any acvomplished singer, trained ir not, should be able to hold a note for longer than 17 seconds. In Barbershop Quartet arrangements holding a note whilst the chords rirate around it and finally resolve is called a post. Most often sung by the lead, and completely without vibrato. 20-30 seconds is routine. There is one Lead from Sweden who posts a note for 47 seconds. Morgan James has been kniwn to hold notes for 30 seconds, and you must wonder whete she keeps a 3rd lung. Haley Reinhart is snother who has the ability to hold a note for an incredible amount of time.
