Emily Dickinson • 'I am a poet.' [DICKINSON]

Hey guys! I don't really expect this edit to go well but I binge-watched the entire thing in one night! Then felt I had to make something, which is something I've never done before. It kind of reminded me of the kind of reverse version of Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet, only it's set as a period piece with modern language. It made me laugh quite a bit and now I can't wait for season 2.

I got chills watching this . Emily was a writer like no other that's for sure . Every time I read one of her poems, my heart brakes a little each time . She was a lonely person who I think wanted to be noticed someday in her poems.

This was incredible!! This captured her in this season so perfectly, her struggle and passion and it was so beautifully edited with everyone saying she’s not but her saying she is a poet. Ah so good. I really loved this!
