When World Bank President Dr. Jim Yong Kim describes you as one of the world's greatest forces for good, I smile and agree wholeheartedly.
When Billionaires choose to give 50% or more of their wealth to charity during their lifetimes or before their death, I am grateful for you and The Giving Pledge.
When President Obama gave you the Presidential Medal of Freedom, I watch and thank God for role models like you.
When I toured the Gates Foundation Discovery Center I found so many ways I can make in a difference in the lives of others, thanks to you.
When the Equality Act gets signed into law I will think of Microsoft and the many companies that supported the legislation years before it even came to be.
When the world soon wipes out the last examples of polio I will think of your strong commitment to Rotary International and the global eradication effort.
When I reflect on the first 49 years of my life, I think about how working on the UN Global Goals has brought wonderful depth and meaning to my life, which I learned from you.
When we all look back on our brief time on Earth we will see the incredible difference we made in the lives of others, thanks to your example.
