I cried so much at this scene, both from laughter and sadness. Yelena's just been so angry, and he sadly says, "I can't remember..." and I start theorizing he's had mental issues thanks to the experiments and stuff pumped into him, but then the turn hit and I knew and they just started flowing. Great moment in a great film with a great song.

I love this scene Alexei cheering up Yelena by singing American Pie their family song. He still have a soft spot with his step daughters.

I almost feel as if yelana had truly forgotten this song after so many years. You can almost see her trying to peace the song together when she realizes and starts singing along she knows now that he really did have a soft spot for her. It was real.

Those tears in their eyes were tears of joy and sorrow. They were both sad that the family they wanted was broken apart, but they were also happy that they had that time together.

He figured out how to say what he wanted to say. I like this scene. I wish it hadn't undermined it somewhat by cutting it short. Seems like they do that with most good scenes. We can stand quiter scenes for longer than 2 minutes without the next dose of sensory overload! That being said...I liked the movie more than I thought I would..
