Transfer Thursday: Intentionally investing in my dividend positions. Growing $5 at a time!
Показать описание
Transfer Thursday is an update on the investing challenge I started in December of 2021 to increase my dividend stocks/ETF's intentionally. The goal is to invest $5 into each dividend position I own on a bi-monthly basis. I am working off a small budget and do not have the ability to invest a lot of money at one time into everything I would like to. Some of these purchases will help bring down my average cost, while others will be helping me see the snowball effect a lot sooner. Currently I am invested in 24 different stocks/ETF's that pay me dividends that have a current cost range of $3.50 - $80. Investing $5 will get me over one share in the cheaper positions and a very small fractional piece in the more expensive positions. But the reality is, if I don't do anything it will take years for them to grow.
I did it!!! Except for 2 positions I am not growing this way, all of my positions grew bi-monthly in January & February and March & April. GOAL MET!!!!! Now to keep it up in May & June.
Regardless how small your investing journey is, START SOMEWHERE!!!
