The Advent were always my favorite in the original for their sweet interplay between the units. Basically being able to mass shield your fleet and then mass regen the shields with the colony capship. And then having the battleship being able to taunt ships making them focus it, along with the damage reflect from the flying chili pepper capship. So much cooperation, it's nuts!

Interesting that Advent have long range misslie frigates and bombardement lasers now. In the first game, it was the other way round.

Great overview. Looked at your channel but couldn't find overview like this for TEC and Vasari factions, did I miss them? Would be nice seeing them also.

At the end, the stars literally aligned to give you a hyperspace lane.

We are exiles no longer!
Man, these ships are sexy as all get out. The Eradica is gorgeous, and much less weirdly anime than the original, and the Halcyon glowup, good lord!
Very interesting reimagining of the old culture cannon.
Oh and the second Eradica ability is called Chastic Burst, you know as in the word chastise, not chaotic.

That three-pronged offensive was beautiful. It was as if the stars bowed at the wave your fingers as you foresaw the opening of the way to their homeworld. Truly a worthy commander of the Advent.

Ah, the standard AI shortcomings banging head first against well fortified places instead of amassing strength and staying ahead

Finally, now do one for the TEC and The Vasari

I feel like with fighting armies this strong it may be better to start with the radiance battleship as it is one of the few tankier capital class ships. Getting it to level up earlier might make it more viable to act as an anchor for the fleet when you have to face those dangerous early battles?

Missiles on my Advent. I am not sure if i like that.

Ok. Some interesting changes. Clairvoyance without the need for a revelation battlecruiser. Malice going onto the rapture which looses its strikecraftaura. The Halcyon Carrier loosing its energy weaponbuff aura. I like that the Radiances Animosity now has built in tankyness and the passive works differently so now you can take 1 ability but not the other (even tho they synergize quite well and are still probably used in conjunction; levelling this ship was always a nobrainer (max passive, max cleansing brilliance, 3 burst antimatter, 1 animosity (or go 2/2)). I am guessing that this will largely stay this way but i see more variable in this now. With the new passive you certainly are more incentivised to put more points into animosity or less points into the passive.

No more hullrepair on the subjugator (that sucks but it was always a bit strange that advent have a repairship so...), it gets iconocus guardians repulsionfield instead (which works differently now) and the guardian apparently now only has 1 ability (but even more shield than it already had it seems like to be even better at its primary role).

We get secondary shield generators. I hope they offset the lack of hullrepair. All in all a nerf for sure (those 2 auras where juicy as fuck) although the techtree and ofc also how the other factions work (all 3 used to have very powerful auras) can easily offset things. The recall-power being the most powerful new thing i' ve seen in this video, especially with jump inhibitors which actully inhibit jumps this is powerful (Visari technically could replicate something like this with the Kostura cannon but 1. i am fairly sure the kostura canon gets reworked (just like the deliverance engine)and 2. its still jumping so a jump inhibitor would still work unlike the advents recall.

I am really excited to look at the Coronata Titan now. Not only because loyalists are my favorite faction but its ultimate ability is now a unity power so it needs a new ultimate and also, apparently they are moving away from auras and the Coronatas hands down best ability is its supression aura. I wonder if they change that slot too. If so might easily be the most changed titan in the game. 🤔

Pleased so far. Seems like they are leaning bit more towards micromanagement aka active gameplay which is a good thing in my book
