Why don't we have giant color E-Ink screens? | Proptech Wish List

While LED TV's keep getting bigger, clearer, and cheaper, E-ink screens have been trapped in time. There's a number of reasons for this, but we would love to see giant Color E-ink screens as customizable wall art displays, and more applications in architectural materials for real estate development. It's part of a customizable real estate experience that we believe will be commonplace in the future.

So glad I found your video! I’ve been doing a casual search every couple of years for probably 15 years looking for this very idea to come to fruition. I think about it every time I see nice prints that I’d like on my walls. Old concert posters, movie posters, artwork, etc. I imagine collecting high res scans of these things and rotating them through. I’ve been more surprised at the lack of discussion about this idea than the lack of availability yet. I wasn’t sure if the technology was even good enough yet to faithfully render enough colors. Anyway, I’m glad at least someone else wants it!
