Awesome review man I'm happy you liked the suff inside. BTW Hamburger is bacon we got that from Germans and Austrians into our cuisine (Hamburger Speck): Cooked bacon, in the region also popular under the name of hamburger, is made of streaky pork back fat. The cross-section displays evenly distributed meaty and fatty parts. Streaky cooked bacon is mildly smoked and has quite a juicy taste. We eat this kind of bacon often for breakfast.

Sardines are popular food here since we have a long coastline, real name for this fish is European pilchard.

Best Regards from Croatia

Croatian food in general is very tasty, the fresh stuff is delicious and even the canned meals are kept very natural - which is why you loved the simple beans and bacon one. Greetings from Germany.

I really like your easy way of describing the rations. No gimmicks, good description of flavors. Kudos.

Hamburger is not mistranslated... in croatia besides the patty hamburger, hamburger is also a type of bacon

You can find all of these in any local store in Croatia. The orange drink looks like Cedevita, very popular in Croatia. Also, if the honey is crystalized, that usually means it has no additives in it.

Grest review of a great ration. So glad you liked the sardines, when you said you've never tried them I went "Oh no..!" They're a bit polarising, but Europeans tend to love them (and herrings too).

Great job, and very cool review.  You divided and conquered all 3 meals very well. All items looked highly edible.  As you stated, that, Hamburger, looked an awful lot like bacon, pork, agreed. Seems like someone in an earlier review, came into same translation. BTW, The beans and pork looked delicious from my viewpoint also. Great job, Peace, John.

Great review.
Regarding the Beans with hamburger, I have no idea why the company called it hamburger, it's literally just thick bacon and ham with beans, it's a very common meal here in Croatia, Eastern Croatia at least.

Crystallized honey is delicious. It makes a rich spread. If you don't like it, a warm/hot water bath will return the honey to liquid (put the container in the water, not just the honey (for those who haven't done it)).

It seems like everybody and their mother is reviewing rations these days, but you and Steve are still the best out there, keep up the good work man!
