Humans are MUCH better at detecting moving things than things that stand still. That's why sometimes when you think the killer saw you even though you were crouched you should try to stand still instead of running, most of the time when you start running *that's* when they see you.

Multible reasons. I might be wasting my time since I might still be shadowbanned but here goes:
1. Moving things are a LOT easier to notice than things that are still.
2. Nea's colours didn't stand out.
3. Point of focus. He could have had a notification taking his focus, or could have had his focus on thinking about his current pressure and what to do next.
4. He had the perk nowhere to hide, which could either mean:
A: Hes focus was on trying to find survivors with aura reading in the ship and nearby shrubberies, thus not focusing on seeing a survivor but seeing an aura.
B: Aura perk brain rot. Using aura perks/ survivors usually not even hiding often causes killers to get worse/never learn to look for survivors or learn to recognize a survivor in the world. Many of them play rly 1 dimendionally and lack abstract thinking also thanks to the limiting nature of videogames.
5. Low game brightness, low guality textures yada yada
6. The clown has impaired vision.
7. Hes used to ignoring pink because of smoke bottles.
