I had identical twin daughters at 4.1 lb and 3.8 lb. I remember how tiny that is! They would fall asleep eating so I had to massage their chin to keep them going. It took me over an hour to feed them and the dr had me wake them up every 2 hrs around the clock to eat. I was a zombie! The rule of thumb back then was as long as they were eating & thriving they could go home. 2 days later I was able to leave the hospital with them. That adorable little baby will be home before you know it. I’m praying for it for you! 🙏🏻💜

Him being able to eat the sweet stuff is the best thing for him. My 1st grand baby was born in June. And she took a bit longer to get good at nursing. Now she is really chunking up. I’m sure your little man will get the hang of it soon too.

Let me say.. I remember when I would see Blakey as a baby and I thought that you all were just spoiling her too much but looking at her now and how she has grown into such a beautiful, caring, giving and loving young baby just reminds me to mind my business when it comes to other families.
You have done a marvelous job and I know why.

Omg, Grady Scott Churco. I love it. That is a cool name. Blakeley, Bryer and Grady. They sound so good together. I can’t wait until you can take Grady home, but for now happy that he’s getting the best care, and is in good hands. So happy to hear he’s off oxygen and feeding tube. Yay!

My youngest was a 35 seeker too. Other than some early feeding issues she came home with me and we spent at few weeks going back and forth to the doc for weight checks she was fine. She is now a senior a ASU graduating this spring as an elementary school teacher. Congrats on your bigger happy family. 😊

You have an absolutely beautiful baby boy. I know what you’re going through, we had to leave our son in NICU after he was born for a little over a week. He came home on Thanksgiving Day. Such joy, relief, thankfulness. He’s 28 now. Praying for a quick homecoming for Grady Scott. ❤😊

I know it's natural for toddlers to cry and miss their mother, but for some reason Blakely crying made me so 😭 especially because I don't remember if I ever saw her crying before
