That performance by the Wisconsin Air National Guard was incredible. As well as the entire air shop. I have not been to EAA in 7 years. I can't believe how much it has expanded.

Oshkosh could be deemed the "Olympics of Aviation" and it is wonderful to see our friends from the north the RCAF Snowbirds joining us in this great celebration!

Always amazed to see the progress of flight. In just over 100 years. From motorcycle engines put into wooden frames held together by wire & canvas to composites of materials just invented & powered by jet engines recently imagined.

Where we were sitting, I couldn't catch the model of the Russian looking jets that flew Friday and Saturday- they made their pass and drowned out the speakers... what were they? I heard the part right after that told us about how they were used in Korea, and they were super fun to see! The National Guard performance was AMAZING as was the Snowbirds! Sadly we had to leave early from the Saturday show for minor medical and travel time reasons.

The RCAF paint scheme is to celebrate 100 years of the Air Force... but in perspective, that plane has been the only combat air frame for the last 40.
