Steelhead are absolutely tasty. Soak a filet in a marinade and throw on the grill in foil. yummy

The steelhead spawn in the spring. They come up the rivers to eat the king salmon eggs, and overwinter in the River, spawn, and drop back to the lake.

Those are not steelheads. They are stocked rainbow trout.for a rainbow trout to be a steelhead they must go in salt water and return to fresh water to spawn.guess this is one way to get yuppies to pay for an erie permit cuz yall arw only catching stocked rainbows lmfao
