This is horrific on all levels...as more and more poeple will be pushed to take maid and administer maid. Even if ethically they do not want to.

I dont personally ever want MAiD and i have certain thoughts on the idea, however I think MAiD should be available for those who want it. But only if they are their own primary decision maker and of sound mind (no intoxicants or being mentally altered due to neuralogical disease). However it should not be pushed and should be limited to those who are truly at the end of their life with regards to disease or old age (after 80?). Healthcare providers should only partake if they are comfortable with the procedure.
