Gerry is a monster on the bass. He just holds such a good groove and places those slides in such a perfect spot. He sets such a great foundation for Rory to fly! I could only imagine being up front at some of these shows in the late 70s. The energy captured on video is a fraction of what im sure these people got to experience! Truly awesome..

There was a fantastic cocert in Athens, i escaped home and went to as a schoolgirl, tbe stadion nearly fell apart from the dancing funs...then police chased as wirh teargas wben concert was over, thank u Rory an evening never to forget!!!

THE GREATEST! I was in Ireland after I became a Rory fan but not long enough. He was in Greece IIRC but due to play in Dublin two days after I left :-( If I had a time machine I'd put him onstage with his wannabe Joe Bonamassa and watch Rory blow him off the stage !
