Tribal Language Video | UNEA Clearsky Spring 2020

UNEA Clearsky lead by Sarah Sense-Wilson offered urban Native youth Tribal Language Circles in Lakota, Lushootseed and Native American Sign Languages. In a partnership with the Seattle Public Library's Davida Ingram and local artist Che Sehyun, a follow-up media production project with the youth around their Tribal Language was interrupted by the Covid-19 Pandemic. We pivoted and held zoom meetings and explored the importance of our cultural heritage, language and connected with Indigenous Leaders to learn from and build community during these difficult times.
