Assignment question:45 kg. Initially total weight of class is 840 kg. Then when average increases by 0.4kg, average becomes 35.4, so now total 25 members are there so total weight is 35.4*25=885kg. So 885-840 gives us 45kg which is weight of teacher

As weight of teacher added asked we can find out by subtracting total weight including teacher's weight and total weight of class .Total weight of class = 35 * 24 =840 kg. 400 g converting into kg we get 0.4kg. Adding this 0.4g to avg weight = 35+0.4=35.4. Now, number has increased by 1 as one teacher included which is 25. In order to get total weight including teacher's weight, we multiply it with avg weight = 35.4*25 =885kg. Therefore, teacher's weight = 885kg - 840kg = 45kg.

avg weight of 24 students=35kg, when teacher is include avg becomes 35.4kg, weight of teacher =avg weight including teacher+(no.of students )(avg weight including teacher-avg weight excluding teacher) ==35.4+24(0.4)=45

Now teacher is added no.of people =25. total weight of 25people =avg weight*no.of people=35.4*25=885kg. Weight of teacher=total weight of 25 people - total weight of students= 885kg-840kg=45

Let us assume teacher weight is x
24 Students=35kg
Total Weight=35*24=840
If the teacher included the average increases 400g
So, New average=35kg+400g
=35.4kg
Then New total=(840+x)kg
Average=New total/total members
35.4=840+x/25
==> 35.4*25=840+x
==> 885=840+x
==> 885-840=x
Therefore X=45 kg
So the weight of the teacher is 45kg
