I got a call once and the lady was saying mold was growing out of the registers. When I walked in, she had a half dozen or so candles burning. Needless to say the filter was full of soot and so were the evaporator coils.

She did not want to admit to the candles

One thing your viewers may not understand is he began cleaning the evaporator coil that is normally in your attic. These are self contained RTU's (roof top units) that are normally on roofs on top of malls and most commercial spaces.. It means both your supply and return air are outside in that one single unit. There was also a filter grill indoors as an added filter, but this unit is your air handler and condenser all in one unit located outside the house. It adds allot more ductwork than the typical setup most of you are use to seeing in residential applications...

This is your coil. This is your coil on candles.

Candle advise. "Burn candles made from soy or beeswax, and avoid paraffin candles. These candles don’t create harmful soot.

Trim wicks prior to lighting candles the first time. Longer wicks / thicker wicks tend to cause more pollutant problems than shorter / thinner wicks.

Limit candle burning time. Only burn candles for an hour or so at a time, not letting them burn for hours.

Ensure proper ventilation for candles. Don’t burn candles in rooms with poor ventilation.

Remember to change your air filter."

I'm in Pittsburgh, look up Pittsburgh Dad, on YouTube, it's an example of how poorly we speak. That said, when around others not from Pittsburgh, I speak more clearly.

We watch two shows from North Carolina on YouTube. They leave the i out too.

Boil is Boy-el, not Bol
Coil is Coy-el, not Col
Oil is Ouy-el not Ol. (Said like above, of course).

Although context is everything, it creates difficult times for people not familiar with regional dialects.

Never mind the filter and coil, imagine what the candle soot is doing to their lungs!

Hey Curtis, if you are going to hose off the condenser from the outside, at least shut off the power. With the fan pulling air through the coil, dirt is also being trapped. Young and upcoming techs watch these videos and do as they see . If I had a guy come to my house and he washed it from the outside, the next no a/c call due to high head would be a freebie. There are some others on YouTube who don't want to take the time to pull the top off and wash it from the inside out. By the way, I put 37 yrs in the trade.

If their filter is black what are their lungs like?

Burning candles isn't terrible if you learn to keep the wicks trimmed and use soy based wax. Soot is dramatically reduced by doing these things

We burn candles all the time. If you keep wick trimmed there is very little soot.

I've been caught on rooftops in phoenix az when the monsoon storms hit, we don't get severe weather often but when we do it can get really dangerous
