In this video, I define the entropy as it relates to the multiplicity. I also discuss the second law of thermodynamics.
I use the definition of entropy to solve for it from the multiplicity for a few systems, such as the Einstein solid and ideal gas. I then find an expression for the entropy change due to volume change for an ideal gas.
