Do you ever return to your old entries and read what you wrote?
I started journaling about 3-4 years ago when I was going through a hard time mentally.
I’ve gone back to read some entries and have found it good to see where I was and acknowledge where I am now.
Things are better now so I hardly ever journal.
Having a full time job and being away from the house 11+ hours a day might be part of the reason for that though.
