100 percent yes.Laycon knew he can never have Erica so went on a smear campaign. If Ebuka pointed out Laycon gossiping Erica, Why didn't big brother look into that matter.

When the going was good they both shared informations freely but with the keeping of space, there was no reason to talk about anything personal with her any longer.
Their script was the reason for this season take it or leave. Kiddwaya and Ebuka played their part in it. But she made her choice(s) which.ended in disqualification from a ones in a lifetime opportunity.
I respect Laycon's choice of not talking about it as it was no longer necessary.
She may claim not to love him but Laycon is the only true companion she never had in that house.

She forced herself on Kidd. She wanted Kidd at all cost, so she felt Laycon's statement made Kidd not too committed.
