TEIS: The edTPA in English as an Additional Language

The edTPA is a student-centered multiple measure assessment of teaching, completed by teacher candidates seeking initial certification in teaching ESOL in several states within the United States. Stanford University faculty and staff at Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning, and Equity (SCALE) developed edTPA.
In this one-hour webinar, please join edTPA developers and faculty experienced with implementing the edTPA in a conversation about edTPA requirements and expectations for candidates in TESOL, completing the English as an Additional Language (EAL) edTPA. Cathy Zozakiewicz (SCALE) and Laura Baecher (Hunter College of the City University of New York) will facilitate the webinar, answer questions, and invite discussion about program and clinical placement features that help candidates for effective teaching in ESOL and be ready for the edTPA.
