4 years of restored, healthy hair🙌🏽😭

The big chop was the only solution to years of heat and color damage and it took a LOT of courage to go through with it . Months after cutting my hair in 2017, I dyed my hair AGAIN because I felt too insecure with my short afro and my curl pattern was impacted because of it. So in 2018, I decided to go FULL IN, cut my hair for the second time, and totally submitted to my healthy hair journey. I even found healthier alternatives to color my hair along the way (hence the red hair paint wax)… Although I now see the fruit of the sacrifice I made, I am STILL on my healthy hair journey. I honestly need to cut at least half an inch of my hair because of split ends, but I FINALLY can bask in the reward of embarking on my healthy hair journey. Don’t give up on your process, whatever it is… Trust and know that God will reward you for your faithfulness. And never feel like you’ve “arrived” to a place. There is always room to grow and improve.
