Hi, When I recorded in full HD with this camera the recorded file is a .mts file and when I play this file back on my PC I get a lot of pixelation around moving people - did you have this issue and if so how did you address it or can you give me any information please?

I bought one for £40
Its a very good camcorder.
What no longer works us the mobile control of the camera via the app.
You can still download pictures and video but thats it.
This is some sort of compliance issue thats quite irrelevant now.
If you want to use it for say blogging you may need a hdmi to usb converter which works well with software like Obs studio .
Although my phone can take good video at 60fps the low light capability of this camera are very good.
And the focusing is really fast depending on your settings.
If you're lucky enough to get one of these cameras cheap today you won't be disappointed with it.
Nice review you did of the camera though as technology has move on a bit .
But still a good camcorder.

The zooms at Wollaton Park I can relate to as I got there a lot so can picture exactly where you were standing and the results of the zoom performance.

According to what I read, 2MP would barely be enough to make the picture look okay on a pc monitor (or A4 print). Does this mean that the videos I shoot with this camera will look bad and pixelated on a tv screen? That can't be right. I mean, I'm pretty sure if I play this youtube video on my TV, it will look about the same as on my pc monitor..

I also heard that even the cheapest cameras today has 5-6 megapixels. So what's the deal With the low megapixel Count on this video camera?
