In my country, waterparks have AMAZING employees. Like, they look after you, they are very nice, they tell you stories about the place, etc.

TSA is wild. I have tightly curled hair as a WOC, and every time I go through security, they have to search my HAIR!! Like squeeze the curls and fluff it to see if something is hiding in it, so weird. Especially after going through the full body scanner 🙄

I feel like these are also the jobs that deal with the most rampant karens so after a while they just can't keep up the customer service thing. I've had a few jobs where I gave up being nice. After a while everyone I interacted with at those jobs just got under my skin somehow.

Is it really that these jobs attract rude people? Or, could the problem be that these jobs just suck so bad, that they could make a preacher cuss? I'm more inclined to believe that it's the crappy job. 😂

I don't think the jobs attract rude people. I think that these employees have to deal with hundreds or even thousands of people every day, many of whom treat them like crap, don't listen, and are rude themselves, and the employees are just tired of being treated like shit all day every day by people who don't see them as people, but as servants.

If you were to be berated and belittled by random strangers for hours on end day after day you'd get a little irritable too. Put yourself in their shoes.

In 2022 I was on a resort in Egypt. And the people running the slides were low key very nice. I hit my head on a slide bc I was pushed to hard and the lifeguard controlling the slide said sorry like 300 times

i went to burger king with my family a few years back in a US state it was probably about thirty minutes before they closed but when we got there they said one moment then never said anything we waited 5-10 minutes before we just drove up to the window to talk to them all the employees were just sitting in the middle of the kitchen on their phones they refused to serve us
