How strange ! How beautiful ! I do not know, if in my lifetime, I will be able to view the movements of the entire visible universe ! But there is no doubt, that science has shown the astonishing movements of the planets, which cannot be imagined from the written accounts !

You explain the bending of space time and as a result the planets are falling toward the sun. But why dont they spiral downward toward the sun? What force is exerting enough effort to keep it in orbit? How did the planets get up to that speed to not fall down the bended space time toward the sun?

What fascinates me is that the planets in our solar system seem to remain on pretty much the exact same path, orbit after orbit after orbit, etc. around the sun.

I am amazed that we don’t seem to observe even one of the planets in our solar system going off in a slightly different direction, thus changing its orbit shape and eventually moving further away from the sun or moving closer and closer, because it’s trajectory is slowly changing over time.

And yet, our earth seems to remain on the same exact path year after year - and that is astonishing to me.

If the planets in our solar system are being pulled by gravity towards our sun, but the speed at which they are orbiting is exactly the right speed to keep it from falling in towards the sun….. that must mean that there is no resistance experienced by the orbiting planets. Resistance would eventually slow the planets speed down and therefore, if I’m understanding this correctly, the planets would fall towards the sun.

I just wonder if there isn’t another force that keeps our planets in our solar system orbiting on their same planes, and not allowing them to shift - even ever so slightly - from that flat plain and circular orbit.

i m a complete novice and trying to understand. since earth is orbiting sun because of the curve created by the sun mass, doesn’t that mean that eventually one day the earth will get too close to the sun and get destroyed ?

Sir, I have a question. How earth had able gather such amount of speed to rotates around the sun... Like when we throw the canon ball at a high speed and it starts revolving around then earth... Then how earth get such amount of speed when external force wasn't gave to it...

The real question is still not answered? Is not about gravity it's about space fabric, how it's hold stars and planets etc its bends if u put a mass on it but if its like fabric then came object from others side of that fabric colloide if stars and plantes are rolling over that fabric then how stars or planets moving through its, fabric upon fabric, pages upon pages of which masses can go through but the fabric don't broke but still holds masses, is it like waters or what?

Then why does planets rotates around the sun in elliptical shape/ orbit??? It supposed to rotate in proper circular orbit isn't it??
