It's so nice discovering Youtubers you happened to stumble upon are also huge Gaiman fans. I first read him back in 2012 or 13 and I've been in love ever since. Ocean is definitely my favourite of his works - it feels like a warm hug from a father after a bad day. I'm so glad you're loving him so <3

Once you start reading Neil Gaimen, you can't stop. I recommend Neverwhere. I've lost count of how many times I've read it.

Anne of green gables is a classic! I just re-read the third book and it brought back memories. In Canada, Anne of green gables is taught in our school curriculum.

i read the anne series over 2019 and i absolutely loved it, it was so interesting watching anne grow and mature. And even as she got older LMM never stopped with the detailed descriptions of her surroundings which was something i really appreciated :)

Fun fact: I started reading Gaiman in 2019 too and read exactly the same of his novels and they're all on my favorites list as well. The ocean at the end of the lane was so amazing, I still think about it months later! <3

I don't know if you've ever read Sarah J. Maas's A Court of Thorns and Roses series, but it's seriously my favorite series ever, and I've read a TON. I absolutely loved it and haven't stopped talking about it for months. You should definitely check it out! 😊

Since you love mythology and Neil Gaiman, I highly recommend American Gods! It's much darker than his other books, but it's a fantastic read and one of my favorite books.

Hello Christy, my favorite book of 2019 and maybe of all time, is The Count of Monte Cristo.
If you like Neil Gaiman, i would recommend to check Terry Pratchett.
