Pet food manufacturers place within the information panel on their products that their dried kibble product should always be served with fresh clean water.
It can easily be overlooked, as a bowl of water is usually provided for anyway, but it is actually carefully added wording for legal reasons.
The bags can be many servings, and bizarrely quite expensive with exotic diverse blends, which we believe are good for our pet.
But a dog should obtain almost all of it's hydration from it's food, and not these dehydrating biscuits.
Rawhide is another no-no, plus most dental sticks are sugar, causing a lot of slow oral harm too, resulting in the quite protracted death in one instance as l was told by a raw pet food supplier who started a shop in memory of his lost dog to this experience ( Wolfies), it was the sugar that kept the dog wanting more.
Manufacturers know we make emotional choices for our pets, and so rarely are we in a strong enough position to make a well informed choice for what is really good for them.
I have to admit my heart sinks a little bit when l see a big bag in a supermarket trolley, which was on special offer, as the dog has just had it's choice taken away.🐶

Thank you for sharing! I always ask, if they stuff human's food with all that chemicals and processes it so hard so food is no actually food anymore, then what they do to animal's food? And then all these chem trails on the grass 😮 The health condition of majority of our pets is very poor 😢 And when you go to a vet, guess what? Your pet gets more chemicals as a "medication"
