The Peri bottle and the Sitz Bath at the hospital were absolute lifesavers for me. Wish I would have taken more of the disposable underwear home, though!

You def don’t need this much. If anyone out there is expecting their first baby with little to no money, keep in mind that the hospital does send you off with a bunch of things. Dermaplast, tucks, pads, the peri bottle. You really just need pads and nipple cream for nursing.

When I was a first time mom this was definitely me but now as a second time mom I swear all you need is like less than half of those and there are more affordable products than the Frida stuff

Consider buying stool softener, the hospital will give you some but only while you’re there, I definitely needed it when I got home 😣

I had a c- section at 17, of course that was 22 years ago. I came home with hospital underwear and had pads lol...love how a lot people preplan.

I had my first of four babies in the 90's. We basically had to get through postpartum with some Tucks pads and a Peri bottle. LOL

Holy crap. I had a small bag that I kept my mesh underwear, my squirt bottle, and pads. Then again, I suspect that I had a pretty fast and smooth recovery too. My aunt was surprised I was up and around, a couple days after giving birth and I didn't have any tearing or need stitches, but still this feels super excessive.
If you have the means, go for it, but please don't feel like you HAVE to buy all of this, if you can't.
Also...I have an unopened package of thick pads for post partum if anyone knows where I could donate them?
Edit: After seeing everything she has on that cart, I would say, it makes sense if breastfeeding works out, and I totally understand if this is their first baby. You really dont know what you are going to want or need at the time.
May I suggest a Sitz Bath though? You can find them in a Walgreens store over by the bed pan type stuff. It goes in your toilet, almost like a "hat" (if you know the medical term) that is used to catch your urine? And it uses warm water to very gently clean out your vagina for you. Like an automatic peri bottle almost. :)
