It's clear that the action from the police officer is justified. You can't be resisting in an idle car and expect everything to go well for you.

The officer did exactly what he should have done. Clearly the driver was not going to comply with the officers commands.

The driver was either stoned or drunk hence his lack of cooperation and of pain compliance. Officers as best as I can see used reasonable force.

Why can't people see that he was inebriated and barely understood the officers commands. Btw, prior to the stop, he had 3 hit and run accidents. Take his ass straight to jail. The cops weren't wrong on this one.

Dude was non compliant from the get go. He brought it on himself. Next time comply, especially when you just committed 3 felonies.

It would have gone a lot better for the driver if he would have just complied with the officers commands. If the driver felt that he was treated unfairly, he can get a badge number and name to follow up with his supervisor (or the court system, since that’s what it was created for).

The driver would have avoided the ground all together.

The lesson: comply with officers commands (no matter their tone/attitude) and the outcome will be a lot better.

I recommend listening to police officer YouTube channels (Officer 401, Donut Operator, Mike the Cop, etc) to get the police officers view of their job. You won’t be disappointed and you might learn something.
