Yazidi-Americans Seek Help for their People

Показать описание
As the world confronts the Syrian refugee crisis, Yazidi activists in the United States are calling attention to the plight of their displaced people in northern Iraq. Last year, Islamic State massacred more than 5,000 members of this religious minority, enslaved more than 5,000 Yazidi women and children and displaced hundreds of thousands more. VOA’s Greg Flakus reports from Lincoln, Nebraska on efforts by Yazidi Americans to help their beleaguered brethren.
