This will be my next purchase for my kindle. I have seen a difference in my life this year. I had a severe relapse that really affected my quality of life and mobility. I started making changes, meditating three to five times a week though I am a busy mom, focusing on my health even more through nutrition and exercise. I sought out connections in the MS Community and elsewhere as I shared my story. 2019 has been a year of improvement and change for me. I am so excited to see this coming from someone in the field of Neurology with an MS specialization. I’ll share around! Thank you! 🧡🙌🏼

Excellent video for PwMS and people without! Since I wasn't dx'd until 54 and now I'm 55 I believe my commitment to a healthy lifestyle and passionate life practices have given me the majority of my life symptom free even though my first symptoms started at 27. Thank you!

I've recently read your book and it has been a game changer for me. Glad to find this video from 3 yrs ago where you first prefaced parts of the book, particularly the areas that turned out to be most meaningful to me. I've had MS for 22 yrs and now am in progressive stages. I've always been a very analytical person and your book has given me many "aha moments" and much practical wisdom for moving myself forward out of the intial pity party we all start in after diagnosis. Ultimately it has helped me to take more control over my own reslience/well-being, and to now focus my mindset much more on me rather than this stupid disease. Thank you.

I'm PPMS. I'm told MS isnt a death sentence anymore. That I'd be able to accept if my health service were actually doing anything. 5 years on, still no effort from the Health Service.

Another great video - thank you. I found your book really interesting, and hope to share it with my daughter (who has MS) when she’s ready. I was on a research programme for ‘carers of people with MS’ that used Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). I found it transformative. A really useful - layman’s version - if it is ‘The Happiness Trap’ by Russ Harris. Such useful attitudinal ways of looking at life and its challenges x
