Shunsui is the dad, Koten is mom and Kykatsu is their daughter

It's also the reason why he's so lenient with them.
He loves his Zanpakto, but he knows that whenever he releases his Shikai that they want to start the games slowly, so you can never go all out until they get in the mood.

Just so everybody get the full picture, Ohana is the reason Shunsui spends so much time napping. He's in his head which is where his bankai "world" (not sure of the technical name) is. So hes spending his time with them, probably in some father/mother/daughter dynamic. (I may be joking but this theory makes sense!)

Though I know that the Zanpakuto arc isn't technically cannon, it is one of my favorite storylines because it shows that relationship.

For no real reason besides the fact that I feel we won’t be seeing them again after the manga ended.

I love the fact that when i first saw them, I just instantly thought, "Oh wow, he has a wife and daughter" until it was later shown to be his Zanpakuto, I was flabbergasted tbh
