How Trail Camera Transition Photos Work

In this video we cover an interesting topic that was submitted by viewer. We talk all about greyscale trail camera photos/transition photos.

Here's the answer to the original answer to Jim's question.
With transition photos/videos you are relying 100% on the image sensor and lens for the quality of data. With that said the light metering on the camera has everything to do with when your camera will take transition photos/video. If the camera is in a shaded area, that will happen earlier in the eve and later in the morning. If the camera is direct sunlight it’s the opposite. So long story short, it’s more about the camera placement and environment than the camera settings.

Chad, thanks for that clear explanation...and I will be adjusting some of my field edge locations with those points in mind...I hate to bombard you with questions but ultimately do you think that there are actual trigger miss scenarios in these high variances in light as I'm good with different clarity pics but I always wondered if I was actually missing pics in these corridors... ?
