You say, “there’s really no information on their site anywhere about the specifics of why they designed this boot, what it’s for.”

From their website:

“We are not a work boot company and we are not a dress boot/shoe company. We make a boot for both occasions, and this is the reason that we don’t have “collections” of boots. They can do everything, they were built for everything, and they should be the most versatile pair of boots you own, but they won’t be stuck in one class or collection. That’s the whole point of the brand.”

I have one pair of Nick's, I have one pair of Chisos, yet I have two pairs of Truman boots if that tells you anything. Phenomenal boots.

Man the level of production is insane, I work with some huge kids gaming channel and the B roll, editing and overall production of these videos blows my mind, just things like rendering 'cheapo' on the boot outsoul is so much added work but the end result is crazy, keep it up !!!!

I love Truman. They're that perfect middle ground boot that's not just a couple hundred bucks, but also not 700 or 800. They compare to Parkhurst, Oak Street, etc.

I have had my Truman’s for about 2 years and have used them for casual wear (the first year, 5 times a week) and then for construction work (the last year, 10 hours a day, 5 days a week) and they have held up great! They fit like gloves and have remained very comfortable. I am due for the first resole

I think Truman does not want to pay it, so this channel has to do it for free. 😂

Finally!!!! awesome video!! Actually Truman boots were my third pair being a step up from Red Wing! Still love my IR but you can tell the quality difference as soon as you have them in your possession. Nice!

Word from Truman's social media account is that there aren't gonna ve doing boots like this for very much longer. They even said they wouldn't be doing rambler leather anymore.

Truman makes a good boot. I have quite a few pairs and actually they compare well to my PNW ankle boots. Still like my Viberg and Whites MP multiple pairs slightly more but Truman is not far behind for less money.

I have two pairs of Trumans and I love the boot. I would like to see the older version cut in half to see how they changed over time. I think the premium redwing description is spot on, tough but doesn't weigh three pounds. The weight is my main concern with PNW boots. I love the boot but hate the weight. Truman's are a little over two pounds, my Drew loggers are 3 pounds and I hardly wear the loggers. The Truman's I wear all the time, the sweet spot between weight and toughness. I also wear my Redwings (iron ranger and 875 moctoes) the most, coming in at 1 lb 12 oz. each. I am a finish carpenter and I need to be light on my feet, walking into finished houses. The loggers are only used when I have to work outdoors or in the snow, then I can appreciate a really tough boot, but that isn't often. I prefer the lighter boots for casual stuff.

I have a couple pairs of trumans and i love them. I work in IT for an industrial company. I don't usually do a whole lot out in our pits/yards but i do sometimes have to do things out there. My Truman's in Waxy Mohawk are my go to boot for those situations. Sturdy enough and tough enough that i can trust them to protect me and not blow up, but nice enough to go back to the office when i am done and not be super heavy and hot.

I love the leathers they use. The Gallun Teton Stag leather they use is by far my new favorite. I am really close to ordering a new pair right now with their black Friday sales even though i know i shouldn't.

I have one of their boots in Galluns cinnamon horse rump and it makes my (still awesome) Grant Stones feel puny in comparison. Cool company.

congrats on the 1 mil subscribers! Cutting the old trumans to compare would be great!

I have Truman's in Stone Rambler and Olive waxed flesh and they compare very well to my White's and Nick's. Love them and can't recommend them enough.

I was hoping for a channeled insole and no cork. I don't know how to feel about the fiberglass shank, i like to think i could dig a hole in these but yeah, top notch, the best of the mid range boots and the beet leather options overall.

Great looking boot! It wouldn’t stop me from buying the boots, but the branding on the sole is not what I’m looking for. Great review
