Honest Review: Nerf Modulus Ionfire (First Modulus Pistol)

Mod Guide:...so many new blasters...so little free time...

This is a sweet blaster in a familiar color scheme but it definitely needs some lock tweaks for the sake of reliability. Overall a decent addition to the Modulus line but im unsure if it is better or worse than the sharpfire.

I love this blaster and I think it suits me, and I do not have a breach problem.
Before you mock me I am picky about blasters I mostly specialize in indoor objective wars.

the recon mk2 actually let me put a 18 dart magazine in it! i guess nerf fixed the problem.

Drac, you should do a mod guide where you brass this thing. It would be so easy to just toss some brass into the pre-existing breech system.

I love this blaster so much, I have one and it is much like a sharp fire but the sharpfire has no rails or stock or anything besides what it comes with. I bought a sharpfire for my friend he absolutely loved it and he will love the ionfire

When it's modded, it works very well
I personally removed the locks by complete accident

The Modulus barrel extensions have a springy / pressure nub that presses against one of the barrel groves to 'lock' it in place. Similar to the spring bead on the inside of the Specter barrel extension. The heavier barrel extensions like the Tri Strike's Mega Dart attachment and the Dual Rail from the Modulus will rotate if you turn the blaster fast enough and then stop.

This blaster benefits a lot from a lock removal, makes priming/loading a lot smoother, like on the sharpfire.

Unlike most of the other front loading single fire sidearms, this thing seems to replace its slow fire rate with far range/Spring power. I look forward to your mod guide, and happy holidays to you m'lord.

It would be cool if in the mod guide you cut off the "nonsense" (stock attachment and handle) it would make it look awesome

Im certainly of the opinion that the handle and stock attachment point need to go. That sanded/opened breach well sounds fantastic functionally as well as removing the locks.

Draaaac if you do a mod on it can you remove the carry handle so it doesn't look weird
