Hi Mike, you certainly know how to make a video. Very enjoyable, and well researched it's always a pleasure to watch your channel. Thank you and keep it up.

I've got a set from Kernow the first time around. Fabulous model and yes, the gates are exquisite, quirky and something rather different!!

Lovely video with your usual attention to historic detail Mike! My only moan is that you have possibly pushed me over the edge of buying a set myself!!!

The gate stock looks really splendid Mike. I'm thinking of getting the maroon livery set. These coaches must have been draughty, and I wonder what happened when it rained?

Mine have a habit of derailing when pushed round corners, does the coupling bar solve this please?

Hi Mike - They look very nice with the gates and something a little different . Do you think that the EFE products could be over priced ?
Cheers Kev

in what way is it 'unique'? Before Bachmann bought DJModels this was available from Kernow Models. So this is its SECOND production run - not unique! The model has been available as an etched brass kit for many years, and a number of modellers scratch-built theirs, so not unique in any sense. Nor is yours the only one that exists, so not unique. Neither is the Southern Maunsell green lined livery the only one available, so not unique! If you want an eye-catching opening to your strapline, you need to try harder to find an appropriate adjective, such as beautifully detailed, highly accurate, even rare prototype would do, since there were very few of them, but not just one.

As to complaining about buffer locking on curves, don't blame the MODEL, rather the ridiculously tight curves on your toy train set.
