This truly never gets old. We sang it in the freezing cold at my mom’s funeral, 2012, Ketchikan, Alaska. She loved the verse “Lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him.”

Sad country music has forgotten this part of its history.

I grew up listening to my parents playing 78 records and my family from Kentucky could play multiple instruments and sing.
Best times of my childhood. I am only 54. What we need again is family strength, unity, compassion.
