the sad life of kylie jenner

Here's the links to the disturbing KUWTK episodes I wasn't allowed to put in the video:

Poor little Kylie Jenner. She may be an (almost... kind of... maybe) billionaire, but aside from money, it seems like Kylie's life might have been pretty empty. There's only so much joy you can get from a room full of designer handbags and expensive clothes, when all you want is the love of your family, real friendships and a normal life. So often we think these influencers and celebrities have everything. Perfect life, perfect body, perfect face, perfect relationship - yet that is SO rarely the case. So let's take a look behind the highlight reel of social media, and look into the real life aspects of being Kylie Jenner. From plastic surgery, to losing friendships, to feeling like the odd one out in her family - it definitely aint all sunshine and roses.

As Jamie Lee Curtis said, we’re witnessing „the wiping out generations of beauty”. These young women haven’t got the chance to grow into their own features and be proud of them. Plastic surgery culture is not empowering at all.

She's so rich she could literally quit everything and disappear. They own private islands, girl doesn't have to live this life, she wants the fame and money, and she makes it profiting off other girls insecurities.

I'm sorry I still don't feel sympathy for her, even the 'sad' parts of the keeping up with the Kardashians are likely scripted.

I can’t feel bad for Kylie. She controls the image she puts out and then says she doesn’t like what she does. She can change and her fans will follow. I grew up on their show. It was obvious Kris favoured Kim and didn’t treat the rest the best until they started making her money. Kylie is mainly on social media to sell things and dispute when people expose them.

I think that the reason she chooses not to leave the fame and social media is because she’d feel worthless without it (and she’d miss out on all that $$ of course). She wasnt favored until she changed her appearance drastically so the family’s hierarchy has shaped her a LOT. Her life has been built around it since their show started, and she probably doesn’t know why she’s famous and lacks purpose, but she can’t turn away because it’s the only life she’s ever known, and she probably wonders who would she even be without it anyway?

You should talk about Khloe. I feel like they've always seen her as the "uglier" and "larger" sister. Now that she's lost a bunch of weight people seem to view her differently... Also, I'm noticing that Kim is putting her kids in the spotlight more and more. North clearly doesn't want the paparazzi taking her photo and Kim compared Chi to Kendall, implying that she could be a model. And she even edits her kids in photos! I would feel more sorry for them if they didn't take 3 minute flights in their private jets or show off their expensive cars.

I don’t really feel all that bad. She says it’s hard to grow up with millions of eyes on her yet posts her kids on social media.
She controls what she does.
She could be herself and be natural. I think people would like her more.
Kylie had SO much support financially. Not only that but if anybody came for her, Kris and the sisters would be down theirr throat.
She’s not the odd one out, she’s just like the rest of them.

In my poor little life, I've woken up for 20 yrs next to a man who loves me. As I've gotten older, I still love my body and face and wouldn't get surgery on a thing. I consider myself far richer than these people.

Kylie is an adult. She can chose to step away just like her brother did. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Shows like KUWTK should be illegal. It’s shocking that we commercialize the actual lives of children like this. I don’t like the Kardashians but I do have some sympathy, especially for Kendall and Kylie. Enough sympathy that I don’t envy their lives at all. I just wish they could all (or even just one of them) decide to do something *good* with all of their money and stop contributing to the cultural toxicity we’re all drowning in.

While I sympathize, I also have to point out that she gets dragged and called out constantly for her ridiculous flashy lifestyle. So clearly, it's NOT what people want to see. When she does something normal, she's praised. When she gives her baby a LV bag, takes a 5 min flight, wears 600, 000$ pants she's ripped apart. So nice try, but I'm not buying what she's selling (literally and figuratively).

I think Kylie used to be adorable and cool, she had a bohemian style and her eyes were charming. It's a shame that she felt pushed to become a copy of Kim, she was already beautiful and unique in her own way and I'm sure that without surgery to this day everyone would consider her genuinely pretty.

I may sound harsh, but I really cannot sympathize with her. She has control over her life now, no one forces her to continue this, but of course she enjoys all the attention and money she’s got, for doing literally nothing. I won’t deny that she has anxiety, but dhe hs access to the best psychologists, medication and support she needs, while the rest pf the world doesn’t, and just has to move on with life, trying to make a living. When you have anxiety and depression, and also have to fight for your everyday life, bringing money home, cooking, and all that.. I think it’s more to sympathize with these people, and not the rich ones, who don’t have to stress about these things. We give too much attention to these rich people.

I have no sympathy. They choose to stay within this life and continue to engage in novel attention seeking methods to stay in the spotlight. I honestly don’t believe that she’s a “real and down to earth” girl and just shows off cause she thinks “we want that”... like what?!? And ps everything we saw on KUWTK was planned plotted and perfected, so whatever Kylie storyline we saw (ie aw poor Kylie everyone is celebrating Kendall being a model) was just that: a storyline.

There are millions of poor people living under such bad circumstances, so many children and animals living there out on the streets...they can have all my empathy in the world. But this family; never.

it breaks my heart that she didn’t even give herself time to grow into her features. when i was 16, I was way less attractive than I am now at 22, and my body was also a lot different. whoever allowed her to change her appearance at such a young age should be ashamed of themselves.

I can empathise that Kylie and her sister did not have a healthy childhood on camera, and that being online can be so damaging for mental health. BUT I cannot feel more than 1 second of sadness for her current form given she has access to unlimited resources while others go without food, shelter, and healthcare. She could use her money for good but she has rather chased more and more wealth, and by being as wealthy as she is, she has CERTAINLY exploited less privileged people to attain that wealth. Let's talk about the anxiety of those working long hours in her makeup factores where they probably couldn't afford a therapist. Kylie doesn't need anything, whereas there are millions of people more in need of help and action and awareness than her. Just want to say I'm not bashing these videos, just don't see why we have to feel bad for these ultra wealthy people who will never give up even a minute piece of their privilege for the better of others. Let's empower and platform those without millions of dollars for a change!

I honestly can’t feel empathy for her. And I also can’t relate to her either. Because SHE gets to change all these things she’s insecure about (and then lie about it) and I don’t. I have to live my whole life with features I get bullied for, because I can’t afford plastic surgery. I have to work to afford the most basic things in life while she’s in her designer clothes selling this lifestyle and ideal of beauty to me and millions of other girls and women who will never achieve them. And I’m supposed to feel bad for her because "she also has problems"? No.

So Kylie says growing up in the spotlight isn't normal yet is subjecting her child to the same thing🤔 Personally I want my kids to have better than I had so I try to give them what I needed as a kid🤷🏼‍♀️

Kylie got sucked into the whirlwind/ pressure surrounding her family at a young age. I hope she finds some comfort as a mother, parenting seems to keep her grounded

It’s hard to feel compassionate towards people who have (most likely) all the resources to change their circumstances. Kylie Jenner will be financially secure for the rest of her life, regardless of her public image. If she were to move to a remote island today to work on herself and not grace the internet for another 10 years… she could. She has the opportunity to change her life to make it what she desires, if she wants, but she chooses not to for various reasons. It’s hard to empathize with a celebrity in a position like that :/
