This is a great looking knife. I have the 1006 with the black G10 and love it. The only knife that I've ever recieved from the factory with a mirror edge. Like you I really like Sanrenmu knives. I have a few and may have not ever gotten to know how great they are if not for finding your channel so thank you Jake. I wish this one was available on Amazon. Thanks for sharing and take care my friend.

Hi Jake, very nice review - would be mine, if I'd not found a "kind of brother" of this one, the "elite force (Umarex) EF710". Both probably legal to edc in Germany, only the ef710 going for 15€ with a nice sheath(with a plastic inlet) but not so good like here the SRM's carry system. That's the real pro for the SRM!

Been looking @ SRMs for a while...Right now my 'in car' camping knife is a CRKT Mossback Hunter...This would be good as well...

Like the steel on it for a fixed blade camp knife, ditch the blackwash I think would preference... fixed blade disassembly, right on I like that.

Good plain design. Good materials, pretty, and looks sturdy and well made. The sheath is indeed wide and ugly, but it works and with many position options. I think you should keep this one.

Is this basically the same knife as the ruike jager with a few tweaks? I know sanrenmu supposedly is the oem for ruike. Is it the same handle profile for both knives?

A prefer this model at the (Ruike f118 = 70-80 euro). The (Srm s745 = 35-38 euro) on Aliexpress. S745 best ergonomy, best price.... Equal work, and equal brand.. Tank's ciao ....
