My Great Grandfather served on her in WWI. We have photo of him, my grandmother, and my Mom, standing on the wooden deck in about 1955 or 1956. Mom is 84 and in great health, I plan to take her to see the ship once again and get a photo of her and I standing in the same spot as the old photo. Sounds like tours begin late 2025 or early 2026...hope Mom makes it that long!

Amazing grace seems appropriate for this ship and its long run without a drydocking. Not sure if I'd consider USS Texas(BB-35) to be a 'Wretch' though.

I hope she finds a birth. Id really like to see her at Anahuac TX. The mouth of the Trinity River would be an awesome place. I know flooding there would be an issue but still. With proper oversight and planning it would be a nice place to see her at.

She is very old, She had her hull replaced 2x. That i know of. Plus the only blue ship of the fleet
