There is this little homegrown grocery store that made their own nuggets. They made it out of dark meat instead of the lighter stuff and they added all sorts of spices to it before coating it in a breading that wasn't like your dino nuggets. I don't know the name of the coating but it was similar to how the breading on General Tso's chicken is. It bubbled out from the chicken a bit.

With noticeable cracked pepper in it that gave it some spice and that breading with the added flavor of the dark meat... It was the absolute best chicken nuggets I have EVER had. Sadly the store stopped making and selling them. It was so worth deep frying and I hate dealing with hot oil.
